This, the first of 5 short 2- hour self-paced online courses, concentrating on higher-order reading strategies that focus on making inferences.

Each course consists of:

* guided power-point presentations

* downloadable mini-manual with valuable content and resources like texts, rubrics, assessment sheets, and graphic organisers.

* Video tutorial/s on how to teach and assess the strategy.

* additional resources on the reading strategy, CAPS policies, and revised ATP.

* Short quiz to test your understanding of the subject ( 2 attempts allowed- no pass %)

All 5 short courses are available in English & Afrikaans.

Note: Participants have a week to complete the 2-hour course.
