SACE Ethics Webinar
The Code of Professional Ethics of SACE is document implemented by SACE’s Ethics department to ensure the all aspects of the teaching profession is carried out in a morally correct and dignified manner.
The Code is the regulatory legislation which deals with all concerns relating to the ethical sphere of the teaching profession. The ambit of the code dictated by the nature of incidences and whether or not such incidence fall with its jurisdiction.
The purpose of the Code is to ensure that where necessary, disciplinary measures are taken against a wrongful party (with the most harsh punitive measure being that a teacher may get struck off the SACE database), within the scope of still giving effect all basic human rights found in The Constitution of South Africa, Chapter 2(Bill of Rights).
