About this Course
This Course is applicable for Grade 2 Only.
The course will provide teachers with strategies on how learners can:
- Identify and apply skills and knowledge in counting
- Develop thought processes by moving from the concrete to the abstract level
- Develop higher order thinking skills through application of cognitive levels of questioning
- Understand the concepts of number
- Know the importance of teaching the concepts
- Develop learners essential number concept skills
- Understand the different process stages
- Apply knowledge and teaching strategies
