ICT Integration: Digital Storytelling (Face to Face)
Digital storytelling is a powerful engagement tool for the 21st century classroom ; promoting active learning by allowing learners to create to demonstrate their understanding of topics. This course will explore a few of the digital tools available to teachers that will encourage the use of digital storytelling in the classroom.
By the end of this course teachers will:
- Understand what digital storytelling is and how well suited it is as a tool for the 21st century classroom
- Explore different ICT Tools which can be used by both teachers and learners for digital storytelling
- Create digital stories for use in the classroom; both as a teacher and a learner
This course will be presented Online and as such it is important that you have access to a Laptop and internet access (at home and school)
Participants are expected to complete and submit all tasks
All Module tasks must be completed and submitted by the end of course date.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion only if all module tasks were submitted and passed
Participants need to receive at least 50% to pass a task

Module 2: Bringing student voice to the classroom using ICT Tools
Module 3: Creating visual stories for any subject using ICT Tools
Module 4: AppSmashing with Book Creator
Module 5: Create a digital storytelling experience for your classroom
Please note: This course will run over 2 consecutive Saturdays!
