About this Course
This popular course last done as a face-to-face course at the CTLI in March 2020, focus on all the major strategies on how to teach reading for meaning in the Grade 4-7 classroom.
This course follows the transactional model of teaching and will focus on among other:
* prediction
* Inferences
* Close reading
* reading aloud
* comprehension tests etc.
The course will be presented in English with break -out rooms in English, Afrikaans and IsiXhosa.
