About this Course
Course objective:
- To upskill teachers in the development of Infogrpahics as a tool for teaching and assessments
- To introduce teachers to an Application for the development of Infographics (CANVA)
Course sessions (4 online sessions with a duration of 2 hours each)
Session 1 - Tuesday, 1 August 2023
- Orientation and background on Infographics
- How to create an Infographic in MS Word
- A demonstarion on how to use CANVA as a tool to create Infographics
- Create a resource folder
Session 2 - Thursday, 3 August 2023
- Infographics as a tools for teaching
- Infographics as a tool for assessment
Session 3 - 15 August 2023
- A practical session where participants will create their own Infographics based on specific topics
Session 4 - 17 August 2023
- A practical session where participants will showcase / present their Infographics
Sessions will be pratical in nature, therefore it is required that participants join the sesions with a laptop/computer and NOT a cellphone
Mode of delivery: Online
Course Certification: Only participants who have submitted their Infographics will be issued a certificate of completion.
