This course can be done in English and Afrikaans.

 

The following reading strategies will be dealt with in the first course (the rest will be done in module 2)

      *   The inner workings of reading for meaning.

B. What does research say; how to teach and assess:

*  Metacognition.

*  Prior knowledge.

*  Text features.

*  Making predictions.

*  Asking questions.
